Is silence acquiscence

If somebody says something, and you keep quite, arent you agreeing with that person. That exactly is the case with the various muslim clerics around the world. One cleric in Kashmir recently issued a fatwa saying that the indian army shoudnt be allowed to re-construct mosques, stupid as it is, it is scarier that no muslim cleric in India has come out against this fatwa, do they believe in this fatwa, or simply do not care as to what gets done in the name of their religon.

The same goes out to all the clerics who are prompt in issuing a fatwa against some liberal minded comment, but are silent when it comes to issuing a fatwa against terrorists who kill innocent people, arent they all condoning the above acts, giving them their blessing.

I ask all the muslims who say Islam is a peaceful forward religion where is the proof of the same? Has there been one fatwa against one terrorist, has there been one fatwa against clerics like the one above who are just hell bent on raising religious tensions?
